Isiah Simmons – Treatment Director
Isiah Simmons is an alum of Ohio University where he played football and majored in Early Childhood Education.
Shortly after college, with his desire to work with youth, Mr. Simmons found Young Star Academy.
Mr. Simmons started off as a childcare worker on August 27, 2007. He quickly advanced to Group Leader and then to Assistant Program Director. Mr. Simmons is now the Treatment Director at Young Star Academy.
Mr. Simmons’ knowledge of treatment has grown in the philosophies of social learning and social control theories, emphasizing the impact of a peer group on adolescent behaviors.
